The Atlanta Falcons honor EFGA volunteer Dylan Callicotte.

ATLANTA -- Dylan Callicotte was recently honored by the Atlanta Falcons as one of its' Community Quarterbacks for 2011. This award recognizes members of the community who display many of the best traits a quarterback must have to be successful…. leadership, overcoming adversity, teamwork and loyalty. Only four people were chosen for the prestigious award, with Dylan being the only teen. They were recognized on the field at halftime of the Falcons-Saints game and at a dinner at the Commerce Club.

Dylan is the son of Gina Callicotte and the brother of Ian Callicotte. He has served as Ian's counselor at Camp Big Heart for the last 4 years. More than that, Dylan also volunteers the additional weeks of the camp that his brother does not attend and is one of the most responsible and well-liked counselors by all the campers. He has also played a major role in the Taste of Love event, as he served as a featured speaker on the importance of camp for a person with epilepsy. The audience responded to his presentation with a standing ovation. Most recently he and his classmates at Collins Hill High School sponsored a winter carnival in honor of his brother, with the proceeds of more than $1,800 going to EFGA's Camp Scholarship Fund.

We are very proud of Dylan's well deserved honor and are pleased to have him quarterbacking our epilepsy team.
